So I just had my interviews and they didn't discuss my TSA essay at all; was this because they didn't care about it, or because they 'mark it'/check it separately?

They never discuss admissions test, I think.

with the TSA (thinking skills assessment) there are two parts: the test itself (which I know they don't discuss) and an essay. My question refers to the essay, which is not marked but forwarded on to tutors

It is probably because it was really good so they didn't bother.
