What resources did you use, maths genie? Did you cover all of the grade 4-9 content. Were any of the questions from maths genie similar to the proper paper???

Did you use HegartyMaths. There are 619 skills on there for GCSE maths which ones did you do or did you all of them to get a grade 6/7 any tips

    thanks in advance

I can't remember what I got in maths (probably a 6) but here are some things me and my friends (who got 8/9s) did
    - maths "5 a day" which i think is on maths genie
    - practice questions from revision workbooks
    - practice papers/ specimen papers
    - flash cards to memorise formulae and trig values
    - take notes on what you do know and what you struggle with
    - bad maths songs to help you remember formulae
    Hope this helps

I got a 7-(79/82, Predicted 8+ for GCSE) In my assessment which I got back today, but the test was a Year 10 individual test, it wasn't a mock. Most of those 619 skills are quite similar/require the same technique to solve different problems, however some of the main sections will be-
    -Trigonometry
    -Substituting into formula
    -Simultaneous equations
    -Surds/Indices
-Graph types(Exponential, Linear, Quadratic, Cubic, Reciprocal)
    -Basic Algebra
    -Percentages/Decimals/Fractions
    -Fraction multiplication/division/addition/subtraction
    -Sequences(Linear, Quadratic, Cubic)
    -Expressions,Formula,Equations,Id entities
    -Problem solving
-Reciprocals & Negative reciprocals of numbers
    -Functions
    -Factorizing Quadratics
    -Volumes of Cubes,Cuboids,Cones

That's everything I revised, hope it helps.
