What is the name of the molecule from the formula NH₂RCHCOOH
and also C₅H₁₂O₆ any help is appreciated

Neither of your questions can be answered.

We don't know what R is (but the rest of the molecule you should be able to identify).

C5H12O6 could be any of gazillions of possibilities (also are you sure it isn't C6?)
The first one is an amino acid! These compose of four key parts, a central chiral carbon, an amino group (NH2) and R group that varies and is specific to that particular amino acid, and a carboxyl group (COOH).

The second one is a sugar. General formula C6H12O6.

Glycine doesn't have a chiral carbon.

It is probably C6, but the OP hasn't replied to verify my guess.

Yes of course! I didn’t want to be too specific as I was unaware of the level needed but thank you nonetheless! Also why I gave the general C6 formula but we shall have to wait for OP!
