answering Edexcel AS Business questions?

apologies for any difficulty in understanding my question.

to provide context, I flunked my unit 1 and 2 Edexcel AS Business exams.

will be re-sitting them in January. the content wasn’t a concern; just knowing how to [properly] answer questions!

now in my final year, I’m on good track with answering unit 3 and 4 Edexcel A2 Business past-papers.

in Edexcel A2 Business, as a whole, we’re taught:

(1) to provide the definition of a key word, and an example.

(2) to mention how the key word applies to the case study.

(3) to analyze the positive/negative outcomes, and how said outcomes may affect the business.

(4) to provide an overall evaluation to the situation.

question is… can the method used to answer Edexcel A2 Business exam questions, also be used to answer Edexcel AS Business exam questions — other the 4-mark multiple-choice?

I assume just not as extensive?
