I have literally been so tired lately!! Going back to sixth form has taken so much out of me. I have literally been working really hard then virtually collapsing from tiredness from all the work I've done which probably isn't a good way to be going.

Anyway I have been super stressed as I feel really behind. I think it's time I mention about last year. I ended up having a lot of time off due to illness and needing major surgery. Then since I was completing a full A level last year I needed to put all of my focus into that plus recovery. As a result I am quite behind this year. I have caught up some of the work but I am having my struggles. I am also finding that due to how ill I was I have had a lot of memory lapses so even when I have been in lessons I look back and it feels like I wasn't there. This means that I've been kind of struggling with where to start with catching up...

Anyway this is what I've been up to the last couple of days:

Music: I completed an analysis of the second movement of Haydn's London symphony, put my notes on the score making it look bright and colourful!

History: Literally been one of my main focuses lately! I turned to the Italy section of my text book and didn't even know where to start! We have been told to look over Italy in WW1 so I did make a couple if mind maps even though I have no memory of it! Bits are sticking in my head but I ill probably need to go over it so much to grasp understanding again. Attachment 718022

I also completed an essay plan today for Italy.

EPQ:
I have actually put so much focus into EPQ. I was researching music theory in a jazz context through different websites and putting information in my literary review. My current struggle is attempting to make it understandable for a non subject specialist which is a huge challenge.

Grade 8 practical:
Unfortunately I have had a terrible cold sore on my lip making practicing very difficult, before it emerged I did focus a lot on lip slurs that are needed to perfect a particular piece.

Grade 8 theory:
I handed in my paper and my teacher plans to check it. However I have a bit of a dilemma because I wanted to take it next month. However it might be too much work with all the coursework I have to do so I don't know whether to postpone it to summer or not. I am waiting for it to be marked before I make my decision.

Anyway I don't have too much homework over the weekend meaning hopefully I can actually get some revision done!
aw no i hope you have a bit more energy soon!
try not to be stressed out, take things as steady as you need at the moment

your mind maps and essay plans look good - and for the mind maps, maybe try to memorise the information or self test yourself?

what instrument do you play??
