About a girl

For any of you that know how to read signs, how should I read this... I've been hanging out with real nice and sweet girl in her uni room for the past couple of nights, and both times when I've left, she said the same thing back. For instance, the first time I said 'sweet dreams' and straight back I got a 'sweet dreams'. Then the next night when I left I said 'sleep well' and straight back I got a 'sleep well'. Weird!

Anything to read into this or is she just unoriginal when it comes to saying goodnight?

...is it that much of a problem for you?

well, when someone says "bye" what do you say? it doesnt mean anything - she's not wierd, or copying you... it's just normal. if someone says "sleep well" to me, i'm going to wish them the same - ok, so it might just be a "you too" but it's the same thing. she's just returning the good thought?

Say - hope the bed bugs dont bite.

When a person likes another, they tend to mimic behavior?

Say yabadabadoo and see where you get?

Sounds like she might have a thing for you and doesn't know how to say bye, hence she mimics you.

If you like her, it'll be the best time to tell her.

wow, you're really picky if this is troubling you

Wow, so she's not very original when it comes to saying "goonight". Lol. Well it depends how she says it, if I dont like the person I just say something quickly to shut them up and get away, if she does it this way...she doesnt like you....
Are you a troll?

It's such a weird thing to have a thread about. I'll normally just say bye or night to someone, but if they've said something like sweet dreams or sleep well, I'd want to wish them that too. Also, because you're leaving her room, you're the one saying the bye first I guess, so you're taking the originality. Just a thought.

My flatmate said good night to me when we saw in the corridor two hours ago, and I replied the same.

And no, we do not fancy each other.

Sorry to disappoint, but replies to things like "good night" does not necessarily mean someone fancies you. They're just being polite.

I wouldn't count it towards anything, unfortunately. It's just an instinctive impulse to repeat something like "sweet dreams" or "sleep well."

There is LOADS to read into this. Basically, what you're dealing with here is someone who is unwilling to branch out into the wider world of evening valedictions. This leads me to believe that she kills small kittens for fun, owns all of Victoria Beckham's musical output and votes Republican. Get out whilst you still can!!

Say 'I like you' and see what happens.
