I was exactly the same! Since I was about 5 I have been convinced that I don't like it, but a couple of months ago I accidentally picked up tomato instead of chicken but ate it anyway and it was yummy!!

I haven't tried any other brand. Heinz has to be the best

How great is Heinz tomato soup?

Not very :s-smilie: lol

But then, I hate tomatoes with a passion.

it is indeed lush, i have been a loyal fan for many years though :p:

can't have it without vinegar though, nononononono!
That's great helenkr

I also discovered recently I like Heinz lentil soup too - I can eat that one cold - much nicer than when it's warmed up

blondevalyrie - have you tried tomato soup recently? You might be like us other two here and actually like it :p:

It's worth a try.

But also, mushroom soup is nice. Only I find it separates very quickly in to a watery mess if you don't eat it VERY VERY quickly.
hmmm perhaps your right because the last time i ate it was at least 2 years ago, i'll have to get a little can and try it again

Try this - Tomato Soup Cake. It sounds gross but it's really good

When my housemate makes cake with cheese, ham and olives in it, a tomato soup cake sounds lovely in comparison.

Sounds ... ummmm ... delicious ...

The soup cake is good though, it's great to mess with someone's head and make them eat it before you tell them what's in it, nobody ever guesses!

dont like tomato but irrc they do a good chicken noodle or oxtail
i love heinz tomato soup but after half a tin it gives me a really sore throat. doesnt happen to anyone else i know :s-smilie:

the heinz tomato soup with basil is even better *mouth waters*
I've found that tomato soup is the best brand, though maybe a bit rich. Tesco Value soup is slightly thinner but it's still really really nice and not quite so rich

I love tomato soup - especially Heinz. The ultimate comfort food.

I've been convinced for years that I absolutely hated it. But trying it again I really do love it. It's just like the sauce out of a tin of Heinz pasta shapes.

I've been missing out on it all these years :frown:

Not sure I want to try any other brand though....will certainly not be as good :frown:

And what have we learnt from all this? I am always right and should be listened to at all times.

It is amazing.... I have a tin of it in my cupboard though it is probably too late to go and make some.

I am considering making some tomato soup cake now.
:p:

You ARE always right, yes :p:

And you should make some of that cake. Sounds interesting!
tinned soup is weak as ****. especially tomatoe. the only one i would touch is oxtail.

Me too, but I love tomato soup and tomato sauce/ketchup!
