personally ive never done it but im a bit confused by it. do you spit or swallow, what do most people do and how do you react it you dont swallow, do you put it in a tissue or what? any advice would be great thanks

If you don't like the idea of swallowing, then of course you can spit 
It's best to have some tissue nearby really, although I think lots of people have had the one time where you accidently get it all over the bed, or on his stomach or something.
If you don't want it in your mouth, you can ask him to tell you when he's about to come, so that you can just give him a handjob to finish him off

if you don't want him to finish in your mouth, just ask him to stop a bit before like rosie said.
if i'm expecting it i swallow because it's easy and i'm used to it,
but if i'm not expecting it i usually spit it into a cup of water - that way it doesn't dry onto things. but beware - if you do that DO NOT go for the same cup in the night. that's a nasty suprise
but that's just me.....
