Secret relationship...

Keep this anon for obvious reasons :ninja:

Basically. I have a friend.

Me and her NEVER EVER get along in school. We bitch about each other, we scream at each other. Basically we're like worst enemies.

However...when we get home..on the phone, on msn...alone. It changes. We're completely differnet.

She told me she likes me...I told her I like her. We're going out.

Its a secret though. She swore on her mother she would never tell a soul.

Will this ever work? We dont want anybody else to know...but obviously I cant tell whats inside her head.

I suggested the secret thing. We're both only 18.

I dont think its a serious relationship. However, we do both kinda feel like we're in love with each other.

We're keeping it a secret because...its like...amazing. I like the whole "I hate you" thing in school. And then...behind close doors...

Its cool.
This will end badly.
Whatever floats your boat.

Lol, fair enough! I actually think that's quite hot. You should start getting it on surreptitiously at school.

Elaborate.
Well it seems a bit odd, but if it works for both of you then go for it.

But having a secret relationship suggests that either one or both of you are ashamed?

We are ashamed. Its the fact that we bitch so much about one another. We both hang out with people who HATE each other. (my best mate hates her best mate).

Gah...lets see...from past experience girls tell there friends everything. But whatever, we shall see.

Surely people are just going to catch on, and if someone sees you together they are going to be like ohh so they like each other and then the whole 'i hate you' front goes out the window anyway. Also thought lots of couples aren't very nice to each other before they get in a relationship anyway, treat them mean and all that.

It really adds to the intensity of things, doesn't it? I love secret relationships, they are loads of fun and drama. Good luck with this! :fight:

Is that seriously my reputation?

Well OK then; you scream at each other, pretend that you hate each other and want to keep something like this a secret. Eventually one of you'll crack, tell their best mate, who'll tell another mate, till everyone knows. Then the one who cracked will be distrusted by the other for not being able to keep this relationship a secret, there'll emerge distrust in that group, which will then lead to distrust within the other group. Eventually the hole social structure implodes and you all hate each other with a passion, even your best mates.
it's the thrill and passion, and the fact that everyone may be shocked if they find out. it's different and more special i guess in a way than other people's normal relationships. treat them mean keep them keen attitude.

but it might just lose energy just like that and stop, because there is so much uncertainty. or you guys might realise how much this realtionship means to you and it'll be fine...

I can see how this could be exciting to begin with, but after a while you are going to be nice to each other and tell people you are dating right?:s-smilie: ....right?
