So I’m currently in Year 11 and I’m due my N.I.N very soon, and I’m planning on getting a part-time job for many reasons. Some being: earning my own money, the work experience and having something else to do (staying busy).

But with my GCSE exams coming up in May/June I’ll obviously need to be studying a lot, will I be able to balance out a part-time job and study for my GCSEs? Do any of you do it? Is it possible? Is it reccomended? Tell me everything down below. Thank you

    Merry Christmas

I think if it was a weekend/Saturday job then you could balance it easier as you'd know that you needed to get your work done during the week. Although saying that, if you could find a job after school for a night or two, you may have more time to revise on a weekend.

It is up to you how you decide to go about it but I know a lot of people had jobs when I did GCSE and they managed to balance it. I suppose if you know you're not going to be able to study for a certain time then you'll make the most of the times that you do and it'll just fit around it. Just make sure you don't take on too much or tire yourself out that it becomes difficult to study, work, or do both.

    Good luck!
