I'm doing a practice paper on C3 Structure and Bonding. The question is: A silver atom has a diameter of 2.8x10 to the power of -10. Give the maximum and minimum number of silver atoms in the thickness of the nanoparticle.
I looked at the mark scheme and the answer was: maximum = 36, minimum = 4

How did they get to that answer??? Please help.
You haven't given all of the information in the question. What is the diameter/dimensions of the silver nanoparticle?
