I always go through and count how many marks I have dropped for certain - it helps me judge what grade I think I will get. I find that easier than counting the marks I think I have.

I did, yeah. Thing is, I never actually used to remember once the results came so I could compare!

Yep I did - and still do

yes. but i only do that for maths. and that just made me depressed last friday.
Haha, yeah.

I've always done this in maths and science exams.

With my maths mock GCSE, I was dead on!

With my actual GCSE, I did better than I thought :s-smilie:

I always used to do that with essay-based exams if I finished early and was bored; cuz I was accurate and finding the marks with essays.

Couldn't do it with non-essay-based questions though...
If I have time I'll always do it! It either reassures me, or makes me convince myself to go and look back over the ones that I wasnt too sure on AGAIN!

I used to do that in GCSE science exams but stupped soing it. I keep the marks of the question in mind but I try not to dwell on it. The main problem I have is spending too much time on short questions and leaving myself pushed at th the end. do it every time
If I have enough time at the end then, yes, I do. It really encourages me to try harder with some of the marks I think I might've dropped.
I do that as well! I thought it was only me... but good to know loads of people do!
In ALL my exams! Especially non-essay stuff, like Computing and Maths, and multi choice papers. Its fun but sometimes can be depressing!

Haha yeah I did that on my politics exam. Mainly with the a & b questions, I think I got full marks for the a questions. But I had no clue about the essay questions!
Always haha!

I count up how many marks I think I've lost, which like other people have said, makes me have an idea of the maximum grade I could get.

But then this makes me depressed afterwards lol, because then I realise just how many mistakes I've done.
Never really... could spend that time checking.
I do an optimistic one and then a very pessimistic one lol.
Yes I always do to see how crap I've done! Lolz.
I count up how many marks I'm virtually certain I've got, ie as a worst case scenario.
Yeah I do that all the time! :p:
I count up all the ones I'm unsure of to give me a rough idea of what I would get, but that's about it.
