Personal Statement.

My school requires me to write a minimum of 500 words (font size 11) for a personal statement to enter Sixth Form. The problem is i've never written one, i have done A LOT of research but i'm not 100% confident and i have to write it soon. What do i write about and what has to be included?

They probably want to know why you want to study the A-Levels you've chosen. Talk about what interests you about those subjects and how those specific ones will help you in the future (in terms of what you want to study at university/what sort of career you're interested in).

What A-levels have you chosen?

All of the ^ plus your qualities (i.e. hard working, organised, etc) and what you can bring to the college (i.e. joinining clubs/societies).

Make sure you talk about the subjects you chose.

A basic structure I was given was
Introduction
Subjects you're choosing and why
Work experience in order of relevance to what you want to do
Uni or career aspitations
Extra curricular in school
Extra curricular out of school /hobbies
Conclusion
