Why is it all right to deny the French Revolution but not the Holocaust? Watch

In Germany, you can be imprisoned for denying the Holocaust, or even suggesting that it needs further research. Why is the same not true for the French Revolution?

Why not read around the holocaust and how it impacted on German society and perhaps you might understand. However if you have no empathy for others you might struggle.

My grandfather is a victim of German actions and he can explain that to you. Unless he loses his temper when reminding the things himself. Though 91 years old, he can still give a punch.
