Appropriate reply...?

How do you respond when people tell you you've lost weight?

I have recently lost quite a bit of weight and people keep commenting on it. Most of the feedback is positive and people seem genuinely pleased for me. But sometimes, someone will say "OMG! You've lost so much weight" but I can tell they don't mean it in a "congratulations" kind of way, more like a "**** what happened" way. In this situation, I don't think thank you is appropriate! I'm worried people think I have some kind of ED - which I don't! I've lost weight by exercising and eating well.

Appreciate any responses
just be like "thanks!" and don't take it to heart, they're probably just jealous anyway!
who cares what they think as long as you feel good.
congrats on the weight loss, I'm sure you look fab

Yeah, agreed.
Just be like "Yeah I have, I've been working out." Or whatever.
They're probably jealous.

And well done for losing all that weight!

Congrats on the weight loss, I know what you mean about people making comments that seem to tell you you're too thin. Im a size 8ish and sometimes people will say to me when I dress up "you're so skinny!" or something similar. I dont really know how to respond to that sort of thing and just shrug it off most of the time.

I get that too. People tell me too "get some meat on my bones."
It's like, jealous much?
You wouldn't tell an overweight person to eat less.

I know. If I complain about my body, I get told to shut up. It's stupid. Just because I'm quite thin it doesn't mean I'm happy 24/7!
