Exam remarked

Can you exam papers remarked
Yes, but as you're (I assume) a GCSE student, you'll need to wait until after results have been released so mid August. From then your school will be able to point you in the right direction and money you need to pay to the exam board.

If your mark increases, I believe your money is returned

Not as such. You can receive a review of marking, which will ensure that the previous examiner has applied the markscheme broadly correctly. Slight discrepancies will be disregarded as academic differences. The paper will not be marked from afresh.

If your remark is successful (that is, the mark is changed as a result), you will receive your money back. Costs vary from exam board to exam board and can be found on their respective websites.

It's called a review of marking and isn't quite the same thing as a re-mark but yes, you can but only for about 5 weeks after the results are published.
