the circumstances of the hugging...was she upset/had something amazing happen to her???

Reply 2

was it in celebration of something, or did she just randomly do it?

Reply 3

Well its only a hug, its not like she felt her up or anything, or did she??

Reply 4

oh right ok.

well... my friend had just given this teacher a leaving gift.
and it made the teacher really happy!.....
apprently the teacher even commented that she shouldnt of been doing it before she gave my friend a hug which my friend says lasted for like 10 secs.

Reply 5

and no... i dont think she felt her up......:|
but it made my friend uneasy because it was so unexpected...and they were alone...

Reply 6

well the teacher is leaving, so i wouldnt think any more of it. theyre not gonna start screwing in the classroom when everyone else has gone home

Reply 7

So it was a thank you hug? I don't get how a hug in that situation could be wrong

Reply 8

yeh will do.

just needed some reassurance that what i was telling her was true.

i dont think shes quite right in the head anymore anyway.....she had a massive crush on this teacher... (who left at christmas)... this happened last term and shes still fretting over it!!...

i think she misses her.

I've had teachers hug me, ok one was because i'd ripped my knee to pieces and was in so much pain they were there to comfort me, but if someone has a close bond with a teacher, the eacher may think to use a hug as a way of saying thankyou.

yes it was indeed wrong to do it when no one was around and if it made your friend feel uncomfortable she should have said to the teacher before the hug happened because she did give warning about not suppoed to be doing this.

although i think its probably best to forget about this, the teacher was probably showing her appreciation for the gift and saying one last goodbye to what could be one of their favourite pupils.

Reply 10

if she had a crush on the teacher then why would getting a hug from her be a bad thing?

Reply 11

because she is in denial about being gay.

Reply 12

ohhhhh that would make sense then

yeah id just say move on, and try and come to terms with who she fancies...

Reply 13

my (female, about in her 50s)teacher has hugged me several times...even kissed on the cheek..when I returned back to school after a month of disappearence haha...

shes cool though... food tech teachers always give you the "mommy" feel...rofl.

maybe I should go now. kthnksbye.

Reply 14

It's not wrong.. I hug my teachers all the time o__0;; although to be fair I don't have a crush on any of them. That would be.. just.. no. xD

Reply 15

you just dont have fit enough teachers :p:

Reply 16

I hugged my teachers when I left school and when we gave various teachers leaving gifts, they used to hug us. They're only human - what's the problem?

Reply 17

I think you are reading far too much into it, and why you are anon? not exactly a sensitive matter is it?

Reply 18

What the ****?

Do kids assume that teachers wanna **** you now if they show thanks and affections?

****ing hell.

Reply 19

She probably only felt weird about it because there's a this taboo surrounding teacher/adult/student/child contact. It's a perfectly natural thing and normal situation it's not a big deal.

There is a teacher at my school (male) who I wouldn't mind having a hug off of ^.- (he's like...23 I think and he's pretty hot)
