This girl wants my boyfriend

My boyfriend in is his first year at uni and he's in halls next to this girl. He says she's his best friend and uni but she broke up with her boyfriend about a month ago and ever since there's all these photos of them dancing together and her sitting on his lap and them holding hands. I don't know what to do. We've been together for a long time and I don't think he'd cheat on me but it does bother me. Especially as they're going to be living together next year. Please help! :frown:

Well that kind of behaviour has to stop. its flirting and hurting your feelings. ive been in a similar situation and you need to tell him that you know she likes him mor ethan a friend and would rather he not encourage her by allowing her to hold hands etc. that should be for girlfriends only. and this girl needs to knw her place. your number one in his life. shes 929292929 th down the line.

Aww, I totally sympathise with you. My cousin split with his girlfriend of 3 years in September and she was labelled as being possessive. This annoyed me as his ex was sound and my cousin sounded perfect, I told my mom that the girl he started dating a week later had obviously caused it. Shows what a cow his new girlfriend is as she was all over him on facebook pictures going back to April last year and they look like a couple even though he was with someone else.

Stand your ground and explain this makes you uncomfortable and that this behaviour is not acceptable once in a relationship. Ask him how he would feel if you did it with a male friend. When I first met my guy I warned his ex off as she was a troublemaker and it worked. Sometimes you gotta fight for your guy, don't let her get her way! Good luck :smile:

I agree with Angel on this one, stand your ground, tell the girl to back the hell off. But also have words with your boyfriend and tell him you won't tolerate that kind of flirting if he wants to be with you.
