Exam question with diester (potentially claisen reaction)

Draw the structure of the product E, obtained in the reaction shown below
and give a mechanistic explanation for its formation. Product E is C7H10O3.
The reagents are NaOMe, MeOH.
The reactant is a diester with each ester group on either end of the compound and is C8H14O4.
Please help me as I've been stuck on this for about 3 hours. :frown:
