Do foundation degree students still get to live in halls usually!?

Hiya all

I have applied for a foundation degree at Brighton uni, Although I have yet to get an offer from them I need to know, As as foundation student studying at a partner college, would I still be eligable to stay at halls?

I know it would be best to contact the uni to be sure, but they take ages to reply. Has anyone not been able to stay in halls as a foundation student?

Cheers peeps

Well, here (Aber) they do, as I've got 3 at least on my floor.
But I'm not sure about Brighton, I almost went there but was my insurence so they said it would be unlikely I'd get halls, but they do have house hunting days where people can come down, meet other students, and find a house out of the listings they've got.
So yes I should think you could stay in halls as a foundation student. But for Brighton I'd think if you apply apsp for accomodation you could get halls, but if not, go along to one of the house hunting days.
Also it does depend how far you live from Brighton, if they rekon you could stay at home and study they won't let you in halls.

Don't know if that was much help :s-smilie: but hopefully you understood some of it!
At Huddersfield you don't if you're on the Oldham campus, you have to find somewhere yourself, be it in Oldham, Huddersfield, or even Manchester!

I guess it varies. Check with your uni?
