Famous Alumni from Manchester?

This is not a 'I hope my university is good enough' thread but just curious to know manchester uni alumni (can't find anything on google). Don't give me a link to Manchester 2002's famous manconians coz thats useless. Anyone know any famous people who have graduated at Manchester? I know Dalton did atom stuff here but thats it. Thanks.

Although i think i remember reading some where that they went to UMIST, which used to be one of the best schools for Management and that might be why they are now cheif execs.
