These are some notes on Topic 2. I will be creating a set of notes for each topic (eventually). I will link all resources on the first post for all to see. If anyone else has created some useful resources I'll attach them at the top

I agree. I normally base my revision notes around Chemrevise because its very concise and has pretty much all the content on it in a simple and understandable way. I'll put the links to these websites at the top as well

I'm loving this thread! The website (https://mathsmadeeasy.co.uk/a-level-chemistry-revision/) is on fleek
I'm taking Edexcel and we only reached benzene reactions (3rd chapter out of 5),, to say I'm freaking out is an underestimation. I'll be making notes and when I'm done, if I find them useful, I'll send them here. i started with transition metals with respect to the syllabus today but I didn't finish as much as I wanted. I'm a bit stressed but I have to fit chem in no matter what
Good luck everyone and till next time!

What colours do we need to know for transition metals (topic 15)?
Vanadium oxidation states are one of the ones we definately need to know: (2+ = Violet, 3+ = Green, 4+ = Blue, 5+ = Yellow), Chromium (2+ Blue, 3+ Green and 6+ Orange) and then there are a few colour for the complexes although Im not sure which ones we definately need to know are (CuCl4 I think we do need to know is blue?)

I'm assuming this is paper 1.

I'd recommend firstly looking at the papers that have been released by Edexcel so you get used to the way they are likely to phrase the questions (as I have noticed several unusual quirks they do e.g. being specific with a numerical answer) Also I would go over all of the key info before the exam particularly the mole equations
Basically all you can really do now is just practice questions and adjust your answers that you get incorrect
