A Cambridge Academic Reference

Hi guys!
I was wondering if anyone who has ever applied to University and it doesn't have to be Oxford or Cambridge explicitly but got an offer to send me their academic reference?
I would like to see how it is structured or if I could get my teachers to write something similar.
Please help me!! Thank you!!

You don't write the reference, your referee does that.
