Maths question:long division

Ok guys this sounds dumb but I've always been bad at long/short division. The question says to work out 11/40 using long or short divison. Can someone work this out for me with a step by step method?

My manual division is rusty (especially seeing a fraction like this) but I would suggest perhaps taking out a factor of 10 so that you're calculating 11/4, which seems to be easier to approach using short division. Then dividing the resulting answer by 10.
