I've been set a question on only Act 2 Scene 2 of Hamlet which is

‘The world of Hamlet is one which not only encourages deception but makes it a necessity for survival.’ To what extent is this true

I know that there is a lot of examples of deception but I don't understand why they are necessary for survival and how 3 distinct point can be made from all of them, so I was wondering if someone could help me with what points I should write about.
