I don't, it doesn't come naturally when i write and if i do try to it just looks really messy

^Haha

Yeah I do.. just seems to flow better since my small letters are generally very spread out, but squashed down so they all merge into a long line with various bumps.

Yeah I need to make my handwriting a bit more legible really.

I stopped writing joined-up when I moved to secondary school; people comment that I have very neat handwriting.

ppl r kinda sad at school....they kinda go "aww ur writins dead neat. i wish i could write like that" an stuff like tht

Reply 12

it depends...i join up half of some words then leave a gap then do the rest.

my writing rules

If you can't join up your handwriting then you have a problem. My old English teacher told me you can't even pass English GCSE without being able to do it. Maybe that's not the case any more.

I'm afraid you just look stupid if you can't write joined-up. :frown:

What a load of rubbish, handwriting's about your own personal style. How does not writing joined up make you look stupid?

Any virtue of a man can be complimented.

I used to join all the letters together, but since I changed the style of it by accident (it just sort of happened) only half the average word becomes joined, with little gaps where the flow isn't continuous... It looks a mess a lot of the time because I write very quickly...

Reply 18

I join certain letters together.... like e's and a's but some I don't. Also, if I'm in a rush I tend to join the letters up more so it varies. Lol

I write joined up and it looks terrible, barely legible a lot of the time, given a choice I would type.
