LSE vs Cambridge

I have only posted this question on the Oxford, Oxbridge, LSE, and IB forum as I wanted to see what people at each place would say. And as Shrayans has mentioned, I have been very confused (I am an international student and deciding between such good places has been tough!)

Seeing that most people have said that Oxford's E&M course is slightly better, I have decided to make Oxford my firm choice and LSE my insurance (in any case, my offer from Oxford was higher than my offer from LSE).

sugar_cane....have you decided that it's going to be Oxford? I am fellow Indian and it would be nice to meet you there considering that there are not many international students at Oxford.

I haven't decided yet, but at the rate that this is going, Oxford looks slightly more attractive. Of course, it would be lovely to meet you too. If you have facebook, PM me and I can add you

Oy! Its just everyone keeps talking about "economics this and economics that" they forget LSE is REALLY good for Politics too, come on! 18 world leaders or some stupid amount of them went there. Perhaps that department should get some credit too  I feel bad for them.

Plus i'm applying for social policy and goverment. Heh.

Shrewsbury International School.... where are you!? I might actually know you, and not even know, if that makes any sense!

I go to Bangkok Patana School. I don't think I know many people at Shrewsbury...but i think our Varsity basketball teams are playing against each other today!

Oh and by the way Cambridge is ranked 2nd in the world, and LSE 59th. Even HKU is better: ranked 18th.

Haha! That is most likely me (but the other person who got into Oxford also wants to go the States!). Who told you about me if you don't mind me asking?
I don't know if it is you, but I do know that the person is Indian... so there aren't going to be too many there to choose from
As for the person, that wouldn't be fair on them... why do you want to know? So there are several Oxbridge from you school?

edit: I also know that he is in for E&M, so it probably is you  wow, how small the world is! PM me, and I might tell you who that person is
lse may be 59th in the world overall, since it is not multifaculty.. but it is 3rd in the world for social sciences!
Yes, that is true. That is why its a very popular institute and has an amazing reputation.
