In case you don't know, I'm a third-year student at UCLA. I'm Indian, but have found myself at odds with my own culture. So, this year, I've decided to change that. I decided to bite the bullet and apply to work backstage at the Indian culture show. I'm not positive that I'll get the job, but I'm hopeful, and it's likely I will since I think I'm one of the first to send my application, and I have experience working backstage. But here are the main reasons I chose to do it.

1) Get in touch with Indian culture.
2) Get to know more Indian people.
3) Meet Indian girls.

Do you think that any of these reasons, especially number 3, seems...I don't know...cynical or wrong? Are these bad reasons to do the culture show?

Be proud that you aren't a member!
You should see the indian clubs in the UK Universities.....it's like self segregation!
