Hi,

I graduated from UCL economics with a high 2.1 and am looking to apply to masters programmes for UCL with the intention of going into academia or working for a think tank/organisation where my economics skills will come in handy.

I have an offer from UCL and Barcelona GSE and am looking to apply to Cambridge too.

I've noticed that the fees for economics masters programmes at top schools are all around £20,000!!!!

Why is it so expensive? Is it even worth it when universities like Nottingham, Bristol and Bath have MSc Economics for around £9000 tuition per year?

Hi - I am considering applying for Barcelona GSE as well. Did you have to take the GRE?

Also - which programme did you end up going for?
