Planning to stay up till quite late tonight doing a bit of revision.

can anyone recommend any food to eat/not to eat or anything to drink/not to drink?

just to keep me awake and fight off any craving for junk/keep me from feeling hungry plus not make me feel bloated/have many other negative effects?

I know its a no no to eat late, but it has to be done, so what's best in this situation?

thanks

I used to have skips and diet coke, not the best combination, but it kept me going.

I'd have a balance, if you want to keep yourself up drink coffee or coke but also eat fruit and drink water.

I have things like grapes, fruit juice, cheese straws etc, but try to stick to non sugary stuff otherwise you'll crash half way through the night!

Probably for a number of reasons:

1. you were drinking coke.
2. you were eating crisps.
3. lack of water maybe?
4. lack of sleep

I'd try to avoid sugar- you'll get jittery and then slump later. Same with the caffiene. How about wholemeal toast and fruit juice? Nuts are really good for you, and protein keeps you full up for longer, so maybe try some chicken or ham. The same thing's probably true before an exam; you really should eat breakfast (porridge maybe) and drink something, through not too much else you'll need to pee too much. Take a bottle of water into the exam too.
