Physics A level Revision

To anyone in Year 13 or has already got A* in A level Physics, how did you revise?
I am currently in Year 12 and I am confused as to how i should revise. For GCSE physics, i made notes but never used them as all you need to do is past papers. I really want to get A* in physics at the end of Year 13 but how should i revise? Make notes then do past papers or straight to past papers once i understand a concept?

Make notes or a summary after each topic then do questions on that topic, but make sure you have your notes or summary on you so if you get stuck on anything in the questions you can look at your notes

But try writing the notes from memory first so you can sort of test youself to see if you know the topics that well
