So at the moment i do 3 a lvls ( psy, econ and politics) i also do an enrichment course thats equivalent to an a lvl its libf finance. Ive got an offer that requires either and A in finance and BB or a B in finance and AB.
this uni is sheffield which i like my other uni choice is birmingham which ask for AAB (excluding finance) now the finance test is in jan and im fairly confident ill get an A or at least a B.
I also hate politics and want to drop it and as i dont need it to get into sheffield should i drop it or would 3 a lvls and a uni degree be important for employment. Dropping politics would be a huge relief and will increase my grades as ill have 2 subjects (as finance finishes in jan or april if i have to resit)

You firstly need to check with your universities that they will agree to you dropping an A level. Just because it’s not in your offer doesn’t mean you can change your qualifications from what you promised when applying. If you change your qualifications then your universities can change or withdraw their offer.

Secondly ask some graduate employers whether they consider the finance qualification equivalent to an A level. Some employers, particularly those that offer accounting training, use A levels as a filter.
