how many times can u defer your uni offer??

I'm just asking because I read Lily Cole was surposed to go to Cambridge two years ago or something but hasn't gone yet, and was wondering whether her place would still be there for her, or if she'd have to apply all over again

So she applied for deferred entry in the first place, and then before she was due to go, asked for it to be deferred another year?

If so, I wonder what - if anything - happened to the place she was supposed to take after the first deferral...

The newspaper was wrong. She was meant to start, but once again didn't.

I don't suppose there's any hard and fast rule on this; it's probably down to individual circumstances and the individual university. King's have given Cole a couple of years grace, as she's working. Fair enough, good for them, but I doubt they'll hold the place open indefinitely.
