From the first site I googled:

Diagnostic radiography involves learning how to use medical imaging, such as X-ray, MRI and ultrasound to help doctors make a diagnosis.

Therapeutic radiography or radiotherapy and oncology courses involve using radiography for the treatment and care of patients with cancer.

I work in a hospital, so can clarify the above if required or feel free to ask further questions!

Hi Phirstman
i was just wondering what job you do in the hospital you work at because im REALLY struggling with knowing what degree i want to do.
How did you know that your job was the right one for you?
have you got any regrets about deciding to do that job?
If you could choose a different career what would it be and why?
Is your job difficult and how do you overcome that difficulty?
sorry about all of the questions and thanks

Hi,

When it came to A Levels and Degree I didn't think about the end game, I took education choices based on my strengths (if I was good at a subject, I tended to enjoy it). From there I found a job based on the degree.

Others looking for more specialised roles will obviously need to plan the exact route/degree they need but if you're not sure, a general approach of following your strengths is the best advice I can provide.

I'm a Performance Analyst so not a glamorous doctor or anything!

I didn't 'know' it was the right job for me but simply followed what I felt I would be good at and hey I have no regrets about where I've ended up!

All jobs have difficult moments, difficult people, difficult tasks, difficult meetings. I deal with them on a case by case basis, tends to get easier with experience.

Hope this helps a bit but sorry I can't be more specific. I'm not in the best position to advise regarding specific clinical roles sadly.
