Only if I use the wrong cycle - well, I need someone to operate the machine, but so long as I'm in their good books, all is well.

I kind of wish i was a thread ninja who was also Lord of Than now...

...i've always wanted to be machine washable
The knack of reincarnating yourself as a ball of wool is not to be underestimated =)
what if a cat starts playing with you?

I bet you're terrified of cats.
Um... I wasn't until you put it like that. I need to invest in a really long leather jacket for feline encounters.

Or, I would just soak myself in citrus juice so they don't like how I smell. Then they won't come near me and I'll be safe.
Yes you could do that, but then you'd smell of citrus...you would bring a new meaning to the term 'Limey'.
Heh. Anyway, I have to go to work tomorrow, so I'm going to head off and get some sleep =) Have a nice night.
Nighty night, beware of stray cotton.

Am I right? Is there an unusually high proportion of us who were rejected by both LSE and Oxford?

haha, erm sweeping generalisations like that are not likely to go down too well in the St Andrews forum :p:

It is not a place for rejects. It is selected by many before applying as where they would most like to go.

I got rejected from Cambridge but accepted to LSE but I can't decide where to go. St Andrews or LSE?????????????
lse

st andrews is boring, and they don't like english people.

St Andrews has heaps of English people. If we disliked them that much, they wouldn't bother being here.

It's true there are quite a lot of English folk about - and even some Welsh [but we don't really talk about them :ninja: ]

what i meant is that english applications are considered differently.

I sure hope there are lots of English people - I wouldn't want to get a Scottish accent. :p:

Actually, when I applied, I thought around 80% of the UK students would be English.

mmm well personally
I considered applying to Oxford, but the course was no where near as good as St. Andrews
and I am applying to LSE and St Andrews...but if i get the offers (*fingers crossed*) I would still choose St Andrews.

St Andrews definitly shouldnt be classed as a uni for rejects, its one of the greatest academic establishments in the world with a uniqueness that many other universities don't offer.

I fell in love with it after visiting it once, and would reject all other offers to go there...

anyone else feel the same?
Yes. Yes I do.

Guys - grow up. Honestly.
