If it doesn't let you apply straight away. Bear in mind that you have to wait 48 hours (ish) after accepting for the uni to update its files.

BrenLee, do you know when we get accommodation offers for Uni Park?
Reply 182
^^Yeah i wouldnt mind knowing that...

I suppose it depends on when you applied for accomodation and how quick they are to process people.

i have a feeling they said from the 1st of april... but im not 100% sure, i may be imagining that...
i havnt heard yet and i applied pretty early

When you apply online you get an auto email saying that we start sending offers out from April. We have, in fact we started earlier  but the catered halls are giving us a little trouble at the moment so in all honesty we probably won't be getting many of the Uni Park/Jubilee Campus offers out until the latter end of the month.

From app to offer it should take about 6 weeks.

hi
i just recently put nottingham as my firm
i want self catered en-suite and since im doing maths at university park so broadgate park is my best bet.
but it says that en-suite single and en-suite large are full, that only leaves sharing, is this right because it seems people have applied early

We have no reason to lie about rooms being full, so yes I'm afraid it's true.

They have gone frighteningly quick this year!

B:s-smilie:
oh darn
well i wanted self catered en suite so will get a twin studio at broadgate park
the only other option is st peters court if im correct?
how far would that be from campus or the maths buildings?
Reply 192
You can't apply for a twin-studio unless you are applying with another student. UPP will automatically reject that preference if you do. St Peters is a bit far but the do have a free hopper bus.

It's tough to tell in all honesty but I would guess you will be ok. The studios have had a slow start this year so I think you will be good.

thanks a lot! because i'm still waiting for a uni's reply so i can't apply now! that sounds promising
I applied for accommodation on the 26th March I think. When should I expect to receive confirmation? I've only received the generic accomodation email so far.

Does Nottingham send you an accommodation email? I haven't received anything so far....and i applied on the 1st of march or sometime around then. This is for University Park accommodation.

Edit: Scrap that, i found it in my junk box. Probably because it's one of these automated things! It says we should know around the 1st April, should be soon then!

Oh btw, does anyone know what our login/passwords are for the intranet portal thing?: https://my.nottingham.ac.uk/media/uk/ac/nottingham/compass/layout/public/ I know it has something to do with one's birthday or something.....but apart from that?
