Broadgate Park is very nearly full, if for any reason you have been holding back on applying and want Broadgate Park. APPLY NOW!

I just checked the Intranet Portal, i've been allocated a room in Broadgate Park, I'm so happy but it said:"Please check your offer pack for further information about your allocated accommodation. Make sure you sign and return the necessary forms to Accommodation Services by the deadline stated to formally accept your offer."

So far, i haven't received anything about that kinds of forms, so what can i do? how can i accept the offer!

In that case give the following number a call and ask them to email the offer directly to you. It was probably only sent recently but they will send again.

Well i didn't get an email today and applied about a week after the application became available (about mid feb)...Ah well.
I applied the first day for Newark on Jubilee and heard nothing yet, ho hum :frown:

Harumph cos I'm in a lethargic mood today
Ha, end of April? I applied on like the 5th May- typical! Ah well I don't mind as long as I get a room  preferably with a bathroom... Anyway well done so far, it must be a logistical nightmare!

I'm coming to Nottingham to start a PhD in September, and am considering accommodation options. Could you please tell me...

1) Have you got many places left in ensuite studios for postgrads at Broadgate Park? I read somewhere you are nearly full, but wasn't sure if that just applied to undergrads?

2) If you offer me a room, but i decide straight away not to accept the offer, do I have to pay anything? The agreement clause on the online application isn't clear and suggests I would have to pay £250 but then get all but a £50 administration fee back.

3) Can I apply for a parking permit now? I have to bring my car with me for the purposes of my phd research and so don't want to accept an accommodation offer for anywhere where it might turn out later i can't park. IF i can only apply for a permit once I get to nottingham, what are the chances of being told i can't keep my car with me?

Thanks!
1) You have to contact Broadgate to see if they have any postgrad accomodation left. I would suggest an email or a phone call.

2) If you decline a room before you accept the offer, you don't have to pay the administration fee. That only applies when you've been offered a room, pay the deposit then wish to decline the offer.

3) You can apply for a parking permit now. Again contact Broadgate about availability. If you intend to stay broadgate, you can keep your car. If you plan to stay in halls, then the issue about not being able to keep your car might arise, but with Broadgate you should be fine.

Well it's Sunday, I doubt that they would send out letters today...

Their emailing offers out anyway, not by letters, and they started a few days ago if you look back over the thread and what Brenlee has said.
