Parcel Force delivery to halls

Hi, is there a kind of procedure with this? I bought something off the Comet web-site the other day, and was told it'd be here today between 8am and 6pm via Parcel Force. I was wondering if they literally can just come straight to your flat door (I'm in Rosser if that's any consolation)?

Obviously the guy could still come today, but I'm becoming doubtful.

You live in Cwrt Mawr don't you? If so I think Royal Mail/parcelforce have access to the front door of your flat, so they'll ring the bell and ask for you, if not, they'll proabably use the intercom.

Not sure about Rosser, but in Penbryn I had one parcel brought to the door of my floor, rest of the time unless it was CD's I got one of those Royal Mail cards... not sure if Parcelforce leave stuff at the Post Office though?

Oh and once or twice I had parcels that were left at reception, I went to get one of them myself, the other time a guy brought it up to my room.

I'm in Rosser, but it seems it didn't even arrive today. Got my Dad back home to phone them for me and it's being delivered apparently. Incompetent fools. I got up after 3 and a half hours sleep for nothing ;(

Hmm, not sure, I may have, but I was told that they'd phone me tomorrow with when it will arrive.

when I lived in trefloyne they brought it up to my flat, so I'd imagine it is the same for rosser.

I got a parcel today and my flatmate answered the door and answered for it, we just leave stuff outside peoples doors or put stuff in the kitchen.

We leave parcels and letters outside each other's doors, too. When I wake up there's usually a few parcels from play.com there =P
