He's a good player. Athletic, good hold up play, strong in the air and that old cliche he's got a good touch for a big man!

I fancy Wigan to stay up

So, Brentford 0-0 Notts County.

Good match, nice to keep a clean sheet for a change.

What do you all make of this?

(Lads, teams in the lower divisions either seem to be battling relegation or looking at the playoffs. Be on the safe side and talk up Brentford's playoff chances )[/footballleague101]

We can do it. Andy Scott has been amazing since he took over. As long as we can keep up the unbeaten run and turn 0-0s into 1-0s we'll get in.

Relegation is no longer a worry.

Also, Glenn Poole, Zed Oh Emm Gee.

Routledge is on his way to Villa. I think he'll flourish under O'Neill.

Is that in regards to me posting pointless stuff?

Anyway i think he doen well at Fulham last season and will do well. Villa need players to improve there squad and so far every player that he has brought has been good. He has spent wisely.

No you big Benny :p:

I meant the prospect of Wayne Routledge at Aston Villa. For a change, an interesting transfer deal, is what I meant.

More hot goss:

Eidur Gudjohnsen rejects a chance to return to Bolton.

Middlesbrough close in on Brazilian forward Afonso Alves.

Obviously the bit about Routledge; apparently he's undergoing a medical.

Spurs looking at Real Zaragoza's Argentinian forward Diego Milito?

Manchester City look to have lost out on Iraqi midfielder Nashat Akram (currently at UAE's Al Ain) despite having signed a 2.5 year deal. His work permit application (and appeal) has been rejected. Iraq are not among the world's top 70 countries; apparently fears of violence preventing home games cripple Iraq's bid to go up the rankings.

Roy Keane may give Andy Reid another shot at the big time...

I'm fuming, we have signed an absolute donkey, Kevin Kyle has signed for us, wtf is the god damn point when we already have a pretty strong upfront (keogh<-->SEB), i mean its utterly pointless where this could have been used to buy what we really need, a new LB and a CB.. christ MM makes me wonder if hes head is screwed on at times.

Wow, 9m. Seems like a big sum for a RB especially considering they have a very able Chimbonda. I think Ramos is tired of Chimbonda's attitude and he'll be out in the Summer. The period between now and then will probably be Hutton's settling in period, coming on for Chimby in the last 10/20/30 minutes. Just my own speculation, of course.
