im with natwest, im about -£1100. when i get my next years overdraft which is a bit more would it reduce the minus. also if i increased my overdraft,would it be interest free? and how hard is it to get it increased?

aparently in my 2nd year at uni i can get a 2500£ overdraft... interest free? why dnt ya just change.. ?

If you get a bigger overdraft it won't reduce the money you owe. It will just mean you have more money to spend because of the difference between what you owe and the overdraft limit. I would recommend you go an talk to someone at the bank. as you go up in uni (assuming you have a student account) the overdraft increases, then turns into a graduate account. however getting increases, when you're already in debt is hardly a banks dream candidate.
