I thought it was easy apart form that last question with the binomials.
the rest was okay though .... i think !
i think !
I sat it today :P then sat D1 right after it.
Thought it couldn't have gone much better... was easy, no simultaneous equations for the mean, no given confidence interval widths requiring the percentage...
only required thinking for the last question (5 marks). You did the probability that all 15 people woudl turn up for the minibus and multiplied it by the probability that 3 people would NOT turn up for the coach.
Was praying for just 70+ UMS, so that I'd only need a C/D in core 4, but I think I might even have got 100 or damn near on that paper.

Yeh noone likes you
I was out of the country for half of the teaching on a germany scholarship, so I had to absolutely hammer the textbook for the last 3/4 days (along with decision maths). I deserve to have done well!
P(of 15 minibus)xP(of 47 coach) + P(of 14 minibus)xP(of 48 coach)
It might not have been those exact numbers as i can't remember now, but something like that. Anyone else?
Just out of intrest what did you guys do on the last question?
