Apply for a Masters

So guys i planning to apply for a masters in oxford and i have a first class degree from st andrews however in my degree transcript in my first year my semesters i just had minimum pass, however all other semesters in all year i had high marks (90%+). Would that have negative impact on me?

There is a way i can show them during that period i was going through family problem, if so how?

Why do you think that would make any difference? You got a First. Apply and see what happens. Stop over-thinking things.
