help about rent and police recruitment
Hi all,
wondering if anyone could please help me with my situation.
I currently live in London Wandsworth, and currently still in University. I have made the decision to leave uni and become a police constable for the met police.
in a weeks time i start my second semester at uni meaning if i continue to go in then ill be charged the 3 grand for that semester.
My question is that if i leave uni now and wait for the police to get back to me will the council increase my rent as i will no longer be in education.
Im pretty sure ill get in to the police as im currently in vetting process which looks at criminal history in your family which i dont really have to worry about. If the council decides that i will be charged rent i would rather pay rent than pay 3 grand for the uni in which ill be leaving anyway.
My parents also receive housing benefit and working tax credit if that makes any difference.
