Hi, I am a tutor of both GCSE and IGCSE Physics and Maths - I personally think the new syllabuses are of the same difficulty, just slightly different focus in topics - the following article may help you decide:-

Hi there,
I'm doing IGCSE Physics and Biology! I personally think they're both of the same difficulty. Biology is more about learning terms and processes, whereas Physics focuses a lot on formulas and equations (around 30). the Biology course only requires 2 equations
