LSE Salsa Society

Hi to everyone coming to LSE this year either as new or continuing students!

Just a brief description of LSE Salsa society and what we do:
We've been running for a number of years and are very active. There's 1 lesson at night organised during the week, it takes place in 1 of the BIGGEST clubs- SOUND BAR in Leiceister Sq in central London! After each lesson, you are free to stay on to practice those new moves and enjoy the DJ mix of RnB, Salsa and commercial pop as the place turns into a nightclub.
We're planning to organise a Latino night hiring 1 Top London club in the new term and it'll be totally FREE to all society members!

Sound too good to be true? Just join our society and come and find out for yourself!
You will find our society's stall at Freshers Fair this year on 29th &30th Sep.
Any questions about LSE salsa or any other society just ask / pm me.

So has anyone decided which societies to join yet? Is there any info in your freshers pack this year on the societies at LSE? Just wondering any new ones... some last year didnt do anything! My advice is not to join too many at once, 3-4 would be a sensible number.
Anyway, me back to London next week busy organising and helping out at Freshers fair, should be fun!

thre is no information about the societies in the freshers' pack, it says that we'll see'em all on the freshers' fair.... I think I will join more than you suggested, but then I will see which ones are worth staying active.....

Im in london now going into LSE to register tomorrow.
There's a global show every year which I think is brill cos people from different cultural background perform traditional dances etc and it really is fantastic. There's the LSE orchestra, jazz band, choir etc. u'll have no problem finding something to suit your taste!
