okay. i'll go through the area of the first one, then the perimeter, then I'll help you go through the second one. I'm not allowed to post a full solution (Study Help Guidelines)
for the first one, you can split the shape into 2 semi-circles and a rectangle. can you see it? it becomes apparent when you draw a line to the right of the dotted line in the shape.
I think that you must find the perimeter of the whole figure.
c) the figure contains 2 semi-circles and one rectangle, therefore the perimeter = 2x3.142x2.5+2x1
area=3.142x2.5^2+2x1
d) 1/4 of the circumference +1/4 of the circumference=1/2 of the circumference, therefore perimeter =1/2x2x3.142x4+4x4
area =1/2x3.142x4^2+4x4
c) the figure contains 2 semi-circles and one rectangle, therefore the perimeter = 2x3.142x2.5+2x1
