For some reason, I didn't rate Stats when doing it last year, but on reflection Stats 2 was my favourite module - the most fun to learn and to do, especially overcoming the challenges in it that really had me stuck until I figured them out. This year I'm doing S3, M1 and M2, and I have to say that while I enjoy the content in S3 and find it even easier than S2, M1 and M2 have been refreshing and logical, more like puzzles than trying to manipulate formulae. Overall, Stats is a little nicer

Mechanics.

Steps to a perfect evening:

1. Find a nice long mechanics problem that has lots of slopes, pulleys and ladders
2. Retrieve your whiteboard, find a fresh dry wiper and give it a few sniffs
3. Draw a large, beautiful, clearly labelled diagram
4. Imagine yourself inside the diagram for a few minutes to get some inspiration
5. By the side of the diagram write down your working until you reach an answer
6. Check the answer, realise you made an algebra mistake halfway through and cry yourself to sleep

The number of times I've tried to cramp a free-body diagram on a TINY section of a page
