UCL second year accomodation for internationals

Hi Im a incoming international fresher to study history at UCL. I know that UCL offers first years who firm UCL a guarantee of accommodation but how do internationals manage to find accommodation for the 2nd and 3rd year? I know there are student houses and intercollegiate halls but is there any way to stay in the UCL Halls of residence? I'm worried as the cost of living in London is high and I don't want to go through the many troubles of finding an accommodation only to find it insanely expensive... Are there any current UCL students who can give me advice? Thank you :smile:
