Is Classics still considered a ‘good’ degree?

Obviously not in comparison to law/medicine, but is it as ‘wishy washy’ as English or Media Studies....?

Excuse me. English is NOT wishy washy

In English, you learn analysis, evaluation, communication and interpretational skills. Hence why we are able to go to law, finance, education etc

Even as a STEM person (CompSci undergrad), I would definitely not class English as 'wishy-washy'. (shock horror opinion on TSR, I know!)

Yeah man. Try writing an essay each week. English teaches you about how people think. I think it’s history and philosophy in one

Umm if it's not STEM and I mean hardcore STEM it's wishy washy.

It's considered just as good as most other humanities, such as history, english, philosophy, etc. as although not necessarily directly linked to a field you may want to go to, it teaches useful skills.

Yup. I don't know how English/essay based subject students do it... The last time I wrote a proper essay was for GCSE History and I hated doing it.

I admire your skills to do CompSci. I’ve never understood it but I admire you.
