Computer Science course not accredited by the BCS (British Computer Society)

I'm applying through UCAS right now to transfer University and one of my choices is Liverpool Hope, although I've just found out that their Computer Science course isn't exactly the traditional Comp Sci course, for example their UCAS code is not G400 like all the others. After more researching I found that the course at LHope isn't accredited by the BCS. This kinda has me worried now as LHope seem to be alright in Comp Sci in terms of the rankings etc but the fact that the course isn't the traditional kind and that it isn't accredited is slightly putting me off. How much does it matter if the course is/isnt accredited by a certain Society, AKA the BCS.

Princepieman offers some great advice. Although we do not offer accreditation, our recent graduates have found posts working as Technical and Systems Engineers, software analysts and software engineers in organisations such as Airbus, Barclays, Oracle and Microsoft. With regards to the course code, please don't worry about this, it is essentially a filing system for UCAS that has no relation to course curriculum. You would be best researching the course content that is offered by various unis in order to find which one suits your interests best.
